Cutting Board Care Instructions - What TO Do
Hand wash with mild soap and warm water.
Wash all sides of cutting board to ensure constant moisture level which will decrease chance of warping.
Dry immediately after washing.
Use mineral oil or butcher block conditioner when board feels rough, warn or dry. (Typically once per month)
Cutting Board Care Instructions - What NOT To Do
Do not put a cutting board into dishwasher.
Do not soak or submerge in water.
Do not use scrub brush to clean.
Do not set hot pots or pans on cutting boards.
Do not use a bread knife on cutting boards as they will cause excessure wear.
Do not use vegatable based oils (canola, coconut, oil etc.) on cutting boards as they will go rancid on the cutting board and contaminate food.
